Who they are#
OpenAI is the American company that released ChatGPT and made language models mainstream. Its models are among the most widely used: thousands of services and agents run on them.
Models#
- GPT — the main line: a flagship model and its lighter versions — faster and many times cheaper.
- Reasoning models — think before answering, strong in math, logic and code.
- Separately — models for images, speech and embeddings (search by meaning).
The exact list and versions change often — current models are visible in the list when you connect a key in SKILLOK, and in the model catalog.
What they are good at#
- Strong versatility: code, texts, working with tools.
- A wide choice of sizes — from cheap to flagship.
- They work well as agents: they call tools carefully and in the right format.
Access from Russia#
OpenAI does not sell API access in Russia: a key cannot be obtained from Russia, and requests from Russian addresses are rejected.
Models in the catalog#
Prices, context window and comparison with similar models:
- GPT-6.1 Sol — $2 / $10 per million tokens
- GPT-6.1 Sol Pro — $2 / $10 per million tokens
- GPT-6 Luna — $0.1 / $0.5 per million tokens
- GPT-6 Luna Pro — $0.1 / $0.5 per million tokens
How to connect in SKILLOK#
OpenAI models work in SKILLOK through OpenRouter: connect an OpenRouter key and pick an openai/… model. Connecting an OpenAI key directly is paused for now.

Prices#
Prices per million input and output tokens are on the official page. Through OpenRouter the prices are the same or close; how much you spent is shown in Settings → AI.
