How to connect a model in SKILLOK
Three ways to give SKILLOK a model — the SKILLOK model, your own OpenRouter key or your own DeepSeek key — and how to use them in Space AI.

Three ways#
| Way | What you need | Who pays |
|---|---|---|
| SKILLOK model | nothing, turned on in the settings | your SKILLOK plan allowance |
| OpenRouter | an OpenRouter key | you, at OpenRouter prices |
| DeepSeek | a DeepSeek key | you, at DeepSeek prices |
OpenRouter is an intermediary that gives you models of OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, Mistral, xAI, Alibaba, Moonshot, Zhipu and many others with one key. In SKILLOK requests to it go through our relay, so they work from servers in Russia too.
Connect#
- Open Settings → AI and press Add key.
- Pick the provider and paste the key — SKILLOK checks it with the provider right away.
- Pick a model from the list and, if you like, set a monthly limit in dollars.
The key is stored encrypted and is never shown again after saving. In detail — Connecting models.
Use it#
In Space AI the model is chosen next to the input field: it lists your connections and those of the organizations you belong to. An organization connects its keys in the organization settings — members pay with them only if they choose them themselves.
You can also give the model to your own agent — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor — through the MCP server: MCP server.
