Terms of Service
The terms on which you use Skillok — your account, your content and the rights to it, acceptable use, AI features and each side's responsibility.

Parties and acceptance#
These terms are an agreement between you and Skillok LLC (OOO «Скиллок», "we") on the use of the skillok.org site and its services ("Skillok"). You accept them when you create an account or sign in. If you do not agree, do not use Skillok.
Account#
- One person — one personal account. Organizations exist for working together.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account and for keeping your password, access tokens and SSH keys safe. Noticed a sign-in that is not yours — change your password and write to us.
- If you are under 14 — or, in the European Union, under the age your country set for consenting to data processing — use Skillok together with a parent or legal guardian.
Your content#
Repositories, files, issues, comments and everything else you post remain yours. We acquire no ownership of them.
For Skillok to work, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to store, copy, process and display your content — only to the extent the service needs: storing the repository, showing it to those you gave access, making backups, building search, answering your AI questions. The right lasts while the content is on Skillok.
Everyone sees a public repository. Other people can view it and copy it (fork) within Skillok. What else they may do is defined by the license you chose for the repository; without one, by the law.
You are responsible for having the right to post your content: it must not infringe others' rights or the law.
What you must not do#
- post unlawful content, other people's personal data without a legal basis, or material that infringes someone's copyright;
- distribute malware or use Skillok as a platform for attacks;
- send spam, impersonate others, harass or abuse people;
- disrupt Skillok: overload it, bypass limits and protection, access other accounts and private repositories;
- scrape user data in bulk.
If a rule is broken we may hide content, restrict or suspend the account. We tell you about such a decision with its reason, unless the law forbids naming it, and consider objections at hello@skillok.org.
AI features#
AI answers are produced by a model and can be wrong: check them before relying on them. The AI reads a private repository only with its owner's permission and your consent. AI features have limits on the number of questions.
How the service works#
Skillok is free at the moment. We develop it and may change, add and remove features. The service is
provided "as is": we work to keep it running and data safe, but do not guarantee that. Keep a copy of
what matters — a repository can be taken in full with git clone.
We are not liable for indirect losses or lost profits. These limits do not apply where the law of your country forbids them — for example, for intent and consumer rights.
Termination#
You can delete your account at any time: Settings → Account → Delete account. We may end the agreement after a serious or repeated breach of the rules, or if the service shuts down — with advance notice where possible, so you can take your data.
Changes and governing law#
We announce material changes to these terms in advance on the site and by email. Continuing to use Skillok after the changes take effect means you accept them.
These terms are governed by the law of the Russian Federation. If you are a consumer in another country, you keep the protection given by the mandatory law of your country. We first try to settle disputes by writing to hello@skillok.org. The Russian version prevails if the two versions differ.
