# Zhipu AI: GLM models

GLM is the family of models from the Chinese company Zhipu AI (Z.ai) — open, inexpensive, strong in code and agent work. How to connect them in SKILLOK.

## Who they are

**Zhipu AI** (the **Z.ai** brand) is a Chinese company that releases the **GLM** models. Many of them are open and among the strongest open models for programming.

## Models

* **GLM** — the flagship model and its lighter versions (`Air`, `Flash`).
* Models that understand images.

The exact list and versions change often — current models are visible in the list when you connect a key in SKILLOK, and in the [model catalog](https://skillok.org/docs/en/ai-models/models).

## What they are good at

* Strong code and agent work.
* Open weights, low prices, some models have free versions.

## Access from Russia

The easiest way is through an intermediary.

## Models in the catalog

Prices, context window and comparison with similar models:

* [GLM 5.3](https://skillok.org/docs/en/ai-models/models/glm-5-3) — $0.079 / $1.4 per million tokens
* [GLM 5.3 Flash](https://skillok.org/docs/en/ai-models/models/glm-5-3-flash) — $0.048 / $0.2 per million tokens
* [GLM 5.3 Prime](https://skillok.org/docs/en/ai-models/models/glm-5-3-prime) — $2.8 / $8.8 per million tokens

## How to connect in SKILLOK

GLM models work in SKILLOK **through OpenRouter** — a `z-ai/…` model.

In detail — [Connecting in SKILLOK](https://skillok.org/docs/en/ai-models/connecting-in-skillok).

## Prices

Prices per million input and output tokens are on the [official page](https://z.ai/). Through OpenRouter the prices are the same or close; how much you spent is shown in **Settings → AI**.
